His Little Ones
Welcome to His Little Ones
His Little Ones is an outreach ministry of First Lyman. We are a preschool that serves classes ranging from 12 months to 5 year old kindergarten. We want to provide a safe and secure environment for your children to grow and learn.
We are wholeheartedly dedicated to teaching children and providing them with learning experiences that lay a foundation for future growth and development. Our program is created to assist you in building the whole child—nurturing them spiritually, mentally, relationally, and physically. As parents, you are the primary caregivers of your children. Our role and desire is to come along side you to encourage and equip you and them on this journey. We know that in Christ more is possible than you can ever imagine for those of us who love and serve the Lord.
His Little Ones operates from September through the middle of May. Preschool begins the Tuesday after Labor Day. Hours are 8:00-11:30am.
What makes us special?
Small Classrooms
Our class sizes are designed such that each child will have a greater amount of attention from our teachers. This allows each student to get more one-on-one care.
Weekly Chapel
Each Tuesday, all classes gather together for a chapel service filled with songs, dance, and a Bible lesson.
Music and Programs
Throughout the semester, classes participate in learning various songs that help with memorizing important things and Bible verses. Each semester, we host a program where each class gets to showcase their songs for family and friends.
Library Visits
First Lyman has their own children’s library that HLO is thrilled to partner with. We allow each student and family to chose to participate in a reading club. This further enhances reading abilities for those that participate.
Summer Camps
After a short break from Spring semester, we offer weekly summer camps for specific age groups. Each week has a special theme we focus on.
Our Staff
Our staff is composed of believing Christians so that you can be assured of a consistent classroom message to your children. The teachers all maintain continuing education training so as to provide the best possible result for your children. Most of the teachers have children of their own, so they are able to understand the struggles and challenges of child rearing. Many of their children have been through His Little Ones all of their preschool years.
Our director graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, and has taught preschool for 6 years, including 2 years at HLO. She has dreamed of working with children from the time she was in preschool herself. She has worked with many different age groups, but preschool age is where her heart is. She came to know the Lord at a young age, so she knows how important it is to share Christ with the children of HLO. She loves being a part of the caring, Christ-centered environment at HLO.
Registration
To register your child in our program, please download our registration form HERE. You will need to print it out and bring the completed form, along with the registration fee to HLO to register your child. You can also mail the form and fee to the address below.
